About
Mandated Reporter Academy is a comprehensive learning and compliance solution developed by d’Vinci Interactive.
The solution features the evidence-based iLookOut for Child Abuse training course that was originally developed by Penn State College of Medicine, Penn State Children’s Hospital and outside experts in identifying and reporting child abuse and also online education.
d’Vinci has licensed iLookOut and related educational resources from The Penn State Research Foundation and is modifying them to meet mandated reporter training requirements in all states.
Mandated Reporter Academy provides core compliance training along with additional training and support materials to individual and institutional customers. In addition, Mandated Reporter Academy provides institutional customers the ability to efficiently distribute, manage and report mandated reporter training completion and certification by their employees and volunteers.
Grants & Funding
The iLookOut project included research grant funding from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development at the National Institutes of Health. The grant’s primary focus is to measure how best to promote knowledge retention and gamified microlearning activities.
d’Vinci continues to work closely with the iLookOut program original creator Dr. Benjamin Levi, a professor of pediatrics at Penn State College of Medicine and a practicing pediatrician at Penn State Children’s Hospital, to develop complementary offerings to the core training including microlearning materials and supplementary courses.
